Holiday Desserts Round Up 2012
This is it – the final weekend before Christmas. Time to finish the shopping, the wrapping, the decorating, the baking. Fortunately, I have all of my shopping done. Now I just need to finish wrapping gifts and baking up a storm before I visit my parents for the holiday. I’ll be making some old-time favorites as well as new additions to the recipe collection. Instead of wasting time searching for recipes, I put together a round-up of recipes posted on CM that you can make (and give) for Christmas as well as some favorites from other bloggers. Now you can spend less time searching, more time baking.

What a list!! I want everything on it. ;-)
Thanks for the link!
Is it greedy to want one of everything? :)
Wow Carla! This is an impressive list!
Sad am I….I have no family left, so at age 57 I became an “orphan” and I am now 60–hit the big one on 11/13 and threw a huge party–meatballs and smokies in crock pots; veggies, dips, chips, crackers, breads and buns; roast beef, turkey breasts and ham; and I baked six (yeah, 6!) cakes, three different kinds–and not one red velvet–ugh icky–sorry. I had invited around 45 people and we had 67 people in my tiny house–living room, dining room, one bedroom and the kitchen. Hey! They were friends of mine and now knew more people! It was supposed to be an open house–and no one left. Oh, I had “wedding potatoes” also. I worried about leftovers for weeks—a little sauce here, a spoonful of potatoes there. ANYWAY, the point of this is: I rarely get Christmas presents but this year–I have been receiving small sacks of flour, sugar, powdered sugar, sprinkles and nuts–even a big bottle of vanilla–and now this wonderful list of cookies and such stuff! I am truly one terrifically happy baker! Thank you, thank you! susi snowflake *:*:*:*:*:*:*:*:*
You ROCK!! Thank you so much for including my cookies in your amazing list of Holiday Baked goodies. I now have a ton more I want to make because of this list! I think December needs to be 3 months long just to bake everything! ha ha
Wow! Great roundup!
Awesome round up, Carla. I want a little bit of everything. Thanks for featuring my cookies!
